Dharmadaana
Our Mission
DharmaDaana exists to serve as a sacred conduit, uniting compassionate individuals through a simple yet powerful platform to facilitate Anna Daana guided by the principles of Dharma.
Our Goal
Our goal is to foster a culture of conscious giving by encouraging people to celebrate important milestones in their lives through meaningful acts of daana. By reconnecting individuals with their roots and promoting the spirit of offering, DharmaDaana aspires to enrich both the lives of donors and the recipients we serve.
Our Model
DharmaDaana operates as a for-profit social enterprise. While rooted in the spirit of giving and service, we are committed to sustainable growth, allowing us to reach more people in need and amplify the impact of every act of daana.
The partnership's credo and obligation is simply, "Naana janasya Sushroosha" i.e Service to mankind.
"Together We Can Feed the World"
About Dharmadaana
Dharmadaana is a platform for all compassionate people to unite and serve.
Dharma Daana primarily focuses on remembrance of ancestors or people who have passed away by giving food supplies to the poor and needy. However, the Daana can be done on any special occasion be it someone's birthday or some festival or any other event and can be done in anyone’s name. These food supplies come as kits and one kit contains 5 kg rice, 2 kg lentils (Moong dal/HesarubeLe) and jaggery. Each kit costs Rs.1,000. Any number of kits can be offered.
We are primarily focused on service to society and all the food given to the poor and needy is nothing but service to God. Our organization's motto is to spread love and happiness.
Offerings News
Homage to Pahalgam Victims
With the boundless compassion of Shri Krishna and the blessings of our GurugaLu, Prof. P. R. Mukund, DharmaDaana humbly facilitated 45 Sudarshana Homas in solemn honor of the souls who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terrorist attack.
Through these sacred offerings, we prayed fervently for the sadgati of the departed, and sought divine protection, healing, and strength for their grieving families and for our beloved Bharath.
The DharmaDaana team extends heartfelt gratitude to all the generous people who contributed to this sacred effort. Without your collective support, this offering would not have been possible.
Let us keep the Agni glowing bright. Let us stand together in the honor of the eternal spirit of Bharath.
Inspired by this, we aspire to take this daana-yagnya to every corner of Bharath. We warmly invite you and your families to join us in this humble and sacred yagnya.

Sudarshana Homa
Dharmadaana also serves as a channel for arranging Sudarshana and other Homas on behalf of your loved ones—be it family, friends, or anyone close to your heart.
Our team has been involved in getting a Sudarshana homa performed every week for several years now with the singular sankalpa of "Loka Kalyana" (well-being of every being).
We work closely with a trusted network of experienced Acharyas (Purohitas) who perform the homa either at their residence or at a temple. For those who are able to visit the Acharya's place, the Rakshe (sacred ash) can be collected in person.
The dakshine (honorarium) for Sudarshana homa is ₹5000. For Dhanavantari homa, it is ₹8000. Other homas like Gana homa, Ayushya homa etc can also be carried out.
Once you register, our team will coordinate with an Acharya on your behalf, share your Gotra, Nakshatra, and other relevant details, and ensure the homa is performed at an appropriate time.
Offerings
Daana of Gograasa
In the Vedic tradition, feeding and protecting Gaumaata (cows) is considered one of the noblest acts of daana. Dharmadaana invites donors to offer Gograasa Daana—fodder for cows—on special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, or in memory of loved ones. With a contribution of ₹1200, we will offer a nourishing mix of jaggery pellets, greens (soppu), and hinDi (crushed almonds) to cows at selected gaushalas (cow shelters). This act of compassion not only brings blessings but also supports the well-being of our sacred Gaumaata.

Our goal is not just to provide meals but to create a nurturing environment where individuals feel cared for and valued.
